The best part of the inn are the two sisters who run it; they’re wonderful, helpful and make you feel at home, keep everything spotless, serve delicious breakfast items like amazing tapioca, cakes and juices, give tips and really look after guests. Walking to the village centre takes just 10 minutes, which is another strong point. The shower could be better—the water was a bit cold and the spray wasn’t strong.

The lodge is great and the atmosphere feels very family‑like. The chalets provide privacy, are spacious, and everything was clean. The twin ladies were lovely, welcomed us warmly, were very helpful throughout our stay, and always available for anything we needed; they also prepared an excellent breakfast daily, with something new each day. The lodge is well‑located, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and you can walk to Alter do Chão’s shore in just a few minutes. We couldn’t adjust the shower temperature; Alter do Chão is very hot, and after tours it would have been nice to take a cold shower, which wasn’t possible. The chalets and breakfast room could have stained‑glass windows; with the A/C on, the windows stay shut all the time, so no natural light enters, making the rooms dark and forcing us to keep the lights on. These are just personal preferences and did not spoil the great experience.

Mrs. Nil is sweet and wonderful; I really liked how she treated us and made us feel at home. The only downside was the distance to the beach.

We stayed in the Aramanaí suite, which was very roomy and comfortable, and everything was spotless; the spot was perfect, just under a ten‑minute walk to the little centre, the Wi‑Fi was solid and breakfast was generous, even offering fresh‑made tapioca and scrambled eggs at no extra charge, and the two hostesses were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our visit as pleasant as possible, many thanks!
