Sky Garden Mini Hotel

I booked this place last minute and was happy to find it. The room was spacious with a small fridge and outdoor chairs, which I liked. The staff were friendly throughout, and the facilities were solid. It’s close to the action, but the nearest beach access is farther than Google Maps suggests; most of the beach is closed off except for specific spots, so that’s something to consider if accessibility matters. The Capybara café next door is great, and the sushi spot is also worth trying! I booked a double room but was initially assigned a family room for four, which was fine, but I wish I’d known about the switch at check‑in so I could decide whether to unpack fully.

The host was friendly, the room was large with a good shower, and the location was close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, plus laundry service was available. The only downside was that the room was a bit dark with little natural light.

“Clean. Hot water. Comfy bed. Privacy.”

The basic room covered everything we needed. We arrived late, walked to the beach, and enjoyed sunset drinks while watching turtles released into the sea. After a nice meal at Petti Petti with a beach view table, we got a £1 tuk‑tuk back. The air‑conditioned room slept very well, though I got a bit chilly with just a sheet. Clean towels and soap were provided; we left early for whale watching. The staff carried our bags to the third floor and back, and we used the stairs. The total was £25. I also found a cannabis sticker on the window, which I found amusing.
