Everything was perfect, and Rene and Marielle welcomed us with kindness and help. Charlie the dog was gorgeous, the grounds were fantastic, and the house – wow – the beds were so comfy we had the best nights.

We only stayed one night on our way home and wish we could have stayed longer! The lovely owners (and their gorgeous dog) greeted us and gave a welcome drink we really appreciated. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The building and grounds are beautiful, with exquisite detail. We booked dinner there and had the most delicious home‑cooked meal in their kitchen. I can’t recommend this enough, if you want a beautiful, historic, friendly place in a very quiet village.

The hosts are invested and charming. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The price‑quality ratio is unbeatable. What more could you ask for?

The old Mill’s features are beautiful, restored exquisitely by René and Marielle, who were the most wonderful hosts. They greeted us with wine and warmth. We chose the evening meal, a three‑course delight, served under the fabulous outdoor kitchen. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return. It was a heatwave so we were very hot, but that wasn’t their fault. No other complaints.
