“A little disappointed”
The hotel was tidy and easy to reach from I35, and it’s near the football field at Texas State and my grandson’s apartment. When we got there, nobody was at the front desk to greet us; another guest passed by, saw me waiting for five minutes, and said, “oh she is around here somewhere, it takes a minute sometimes.” I even walked around the corner to check if anyone was in the back office, but there was no one. The pillows on the bed were terrible and offered no support, which everyone in the room noticed. My juice glass had a chip in the rim. I’ve traveled a lot for work before retiring and have always stayed at Hilton Garden Hotels without any problems. I think the General Manager should look into these issues.
