The receptionist at check‑in seemed detached, unengaging, and very serious, which made the welcome feel awkward.

“We had a late check in and Mr Kaddy was very understanding our flights kept getting delayed and he checked in on us and”

The room itself was nice and clean, but the hallway carpet was nasty, and I had to request housekeeping; when I did, my room was never cleaned. I was also disappointed to find mold growing in the shower, though otherwise the place was tidy.

“They are building a brand new Baymont by Wyndham right next door. I will go there next time.”

Breakfast was decent, but the carpet was filthy, the sink was dripping, and there were no washcloths.

“Great hotel outside Detroit”

Everyone was very nice and the room was very clean. There wasn’t really anything else to note; everything worked and it was a great stay for its value.

The soap in the shower was the best I’ve used, and the staff were great. Breakfast, however, was terrible—barely edible.
