“Proper Farmhouse B&B”

The countryside setting is charming, and the hosts are welcoming and friendly. This is a farmhouse, so it isn’t modern and the accommodation mirrors that—clean and well kept, but don’t expect contemporary showers or bathroom fixtures; they match the age and style of the building. The hosts add lovely touches with scones, homemade biscuits, fresh milk, and a great tea/coffee tray selection in the morning. Breakfast offers an excellent spread of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, etc., plus a cooked breakfast. However, some items on the cooked breakfast were a bit greasy for our taste, and the quality of a few ingredients didn’t match the rest of the stay.

“Great place to stay”

The welcome was lovely and the stay very comfortable, but it wasn’t long enough.

“I left feeling very satisfied and felt I had value for the price I paid.”

The room was very comfortable, and treats like scones, jam, and chocolates were great. Breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were attentive and pleasant. I’ll definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.
