“環境清幽，晚上露營火會好舒服”

The surroundings were cozy and still felt spotless, even though it was our second stay within a year and this time we brought a child; I know they were renovating in January, so a few extra activities during the summer break would have made it livelier. In our first visit the staff handed us a detailed instruction list, but they didn't provide one this time, and we were disappointed to find the charcoal grill replaced with an electric grill.

I appreciated the natural setting and the calm vibe of the place, and catching a view of Mt. Fuji from the room was unforgettable. I was, however, let down by how my vegetarian request was handled: I had specifically asked for a meat‑free meal that could include eggs and dairy, and the team had confirmed it multiple times. Yet the meal delivered at check‑in contained salmon, and when I pointed out the mistake again, a staff member with short bob hair and bangs responded in an unfriendly, visibly annoyed manner. That treatment made me feel uncomfortable as a paying guest. If accommodating such requests is difficult, a heads‑up would have been better so I could arrange food myself. What hurt most was not the error itself but the way it was handled afterward. Being met with impatience and unpleasant looks is far below the hospitality I expected. I paid for a relaxing stay, not for feeling unwelcome over a previously agreed request. The property is beautiful, but this incident heavily impacted my overall impression of the service.
