“Non è stata piacevole chi alloggiava al piano terra”

The owner is very helpful and ready to solve any request. The upper floor is spacious and comfortable. The ground floor doesn’t match the photos at all; the shower in the room makes it uncomfortable, and the window in the shower is terrible. The kitchen is well equipped, but the cleanliness, especially inside the dishwasher, is poor. Trash bins are right in front of the kitchen window, emitting a bad odor. The lock is defective.

There was no breakfast. I rented this house to stay close to Pontina and to see friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. The owner monitored the cameras above the door and asked my guest to leave. I’m embarrassed by the lack of privacy. The bathroom was unheated, the shower was clogged, and I stood in water up to my calves.

“angenehme Tage verbracht”

The small holiday home is a short walk from the sea and from the center of the tiny town Pontinia. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. The stairs to the first floor (large bedroom with bathroom) are steep and may not be easy for everyone. Those who aren’t good at climbing stairs can stay in the smaller ground‑floor room (with WC).

The hot water only lasted for two minutes before turning cold, and you had to repeat the same steps again; the owner gave instructions over the phone, but the problem persisted.
