City-Hotel Cottbus

Good location, quiet surroundings, good breakfast. Things were just right.

The staff on site were very friendly, but the breakfast was overpriced for what was offered; the yogurt was good and cheap, yet the minibar was charged for consumption even though nothing was used.

“Poor value for money, but it is fine to stay here.”

Conveniently positioned between the train station and the town, the hotel is quiet and the staff are very pleasant, and I appreciated the reasonably priced minibar in the room; the rooms themselves are clean and functional. However, the furnishings feel very dated, and I thought the hotel was poor value for money given its high price—I'd paid less for a nicer hotel in Berlin.

“Wochenendausflug”

The service, facilities, and location are all perfectly fine and my requests were met, so we felt very comfortable. The only downside is that for older people the shower is not barrier‑free due to a high step; perhaps the hotel offers suitable rooms for that.
