The room on the fourth floor was acceptable with an excellent view, though the sloping ceilings made it feel a bit cramped for some; breakfast was varied, high quality, and served efficiently by Lucia with a smile, and the ground‑floor interior of the property is spectacular. However, the room had a few faults: one light fixture was broken and the safe stayed unusable even after reporting it to the gentleman at reception upon arrival; the bathroom only had a small bar of soap and a box of tissues, and there was no kettle—just a non‑complimentary coffee machine.

The location is a revelation; the breakfasts are good, though you had to wait for a free table, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

The place is spot on, the staff were great, and the view from the window was just perfect – everything else was flawless.
