“Great resort right on the beach”

The resort sits directly on the beach, opposite a fantastic cocktail bar that offers beautiful sunsets. Kayaks are available a few metres away for 100 baht an hour.

The location is unbeatable—just across a very quiet road from the beach. I could watch stunning sunrises, grab lunch at Talaythong restaurant (they even provided take‑away for days I was working and wanted to eat on my bungalow sundeck), and enjoy abundant wildlife right around the bungalows, from hornbills and myna birds to geckos and even a 4‑foot water monitor lizard that sauntered past one hot afternoon. The staff were super friendly, kind, and helpful, ready to order a taxi, rent bicycles or mopeds, or book ferries and longtail boats to nearby islands. The restaurant offers delicious freshly cooked breakfast options, and rooms are cleaned daily. Everything was a pleasure and there was nothing too much trouble here. We fell in love with Koh Yao Noi and with Koh Yao Beach Bungalows ❤️

Nice. Very hot. The little fan wasn’t enough. A lot of ants in the bathroom.
