“A historic and classy gem of a hotel on the New Jersey Shore”
Historic hotel with classic ambience, eager staff, great amenities, and a wonderful location near Walking Street and the beach. The bathroom could have been a bit larger.

Cushions in the pool area were moldy and should be replaced. The bathtub needs to have grab bars installed.

Great restaurant and coffee shops in the hotel. The bed was too high for me.

The hotel was very busy, with an excellent location near town and the beach. Services and staff were very good, and many families enjoyed the pool, beach, and other facilities. The trip was enjoyable.

I requested a view‑room for my mother’s 85th birthday, but she was first put in a room overlooking an inner HVAC shaft. Realizing the mistake, they shifted her to a beautiful ocean‑front room, which she loved. My brother’s family, who were first‑time guests, also ended up in an HVAC shaft room, but they still enjoyed everything else.
