Evergreen Resort

The location and rooms are directly on the sea and absolutely beautiful. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t work, and breakfast was a disaster.

“Very good value for money !”

The location is just great! You are near everything in Chaweng in the walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice, we were living in the villa and it was very good, relatively new. Very calm as well even though you are 5 minutes walk from the ARK bar, Love hotel and Elephnat resort which are very very loud every evening. The staff is not as nice as everywhere else, the cleaning is a bit slow and problems with the clean towels delivery. But those are small things. I still loved our stay in Evergreen !

“Correct pour le prix.”

The room is pleasant except for the bathroom, and it’s very clean. I couldn’t send an email during my entire stay. The beach mattress is too tight and uncomfortable; the bathroom needs renovation. The bungalow is dark and small.

The beach at Chaweng is gorgeous and everything is close by, but the guests can be a bit noisy at night because of the nearby villas, so the soundproofing should be improved for more peace.

The location was good because it was close to the center for evening walks, but the sea was not great, so we had to move with scooters every day. I want to point out several major inconveniences we suffered during our stay. On the first night we couldn't sleep because of a party with loud music that lasted until 5:00 am. We were warned with a note left under the door, but the simple notice did not prevent the disturbance, which severely compromised our rest. Additionally, in one of the two Deluxe rooms we encountered a serious privacy issue: the blinds did not provide any privacy at all, and from the outside it was clearly possible to see inside the room. We only noticed this after we had already undressed, and at that point we realized that some people outside could see us. I am also attaching the relevant photographs. Moreover, the blinds allow a significant amount of sunlight into the room from as early as 5:30 am, making it impossible to continue sleeping. Coupled with the acoustic disturbance on the first night, this further impacted our ability to rest properly. On top of that, the cleaning service is not performed regularly every day but only upon request. We believe this is not adequate compared to the standards expected from a property of this level, especially considering the type of accommodation and the price paid in Koh Phangan. Overall, the above described inconveniences significantly compromised the quality of our stay and do not meet the legitimate expectations of tranquility, privacy, rest, and service quality.
