“"Au sourire des anges": les propriétaires ont donc de l' humour!”

The location is right in the middle of nature, and we could use the pool, which was marked as an extra fee but apparently we weren't charged. The food at the guesthouse was decent. The name of the place is “le sourire des anges,” yet we saw neither angels nor a single smile. The reception was quick, but the owners were very cold and sometimes walked past us without even greeting us. One day we called the owner because we thought there was an electrical problem; she came over, seemed annoyed, and didn't hide her irritation. We had access to the pool at the start of our stay, but then vertical lounge chairs were placed there, apparently to block the entrance, with no explanation. The third issue, and not the least, was cleanliness: the kettle was laced with limescale (I cleaned it myself with vinegar), the cups were questionable, the shower tiles and outer edges were black with grime, and the shower drain was disgusting. PS: Before the owner could give me the same kind of response she had to other negative reviews on booking, I assure you everything is fine from my karma and other angles!!

“un luogo per chi cerca l'autenticità e la vera campagna .”

The place is truly remote, literally away from everything, and the homemade food is great with comfortable rooms that have a valley view. The breakfast includes homemade cakes that are very good. The owners were friendly and fulfilled all our requests. The last stretch of road is a bit uneven, but if you go slowly it’s doable; just watch out for potholes.

When we booked breakfast, we received a warm and tasty omelette with various meats, and the coffee was very good, something you rarely find in Italy. There is a private parking lot. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we had to wait. We understand that this is due to the period when there are no active travelers.

The staff were super welcoming. We also stopped here for dinner, and the local food was of excellent quality.
