“Een klein paradijs op een onverwachte plek”
The cottage was fully equipped and stylishly modern. Because we could lock the bedroom and sleep upstairs ourselves, it was ideal for staying with our one‑year‑old son. A crib, a high chair, and even some books and games were provided for him. Even though the neighbors are close by, once you cross the gate it feels like your own little paradise. The welcome was warm and we were offered early check‑in, which was great. Within 45 minutes by car you reach nice walks and viewpoints. We drove an hour to get to the start point of the Piton de la Fournaise. The only drawback was that sometimes we slept poorly at night because we were woken by the neighbors’ dogs and chickens/roosters. Also, you have to be ready to drive to the scenic walks and nature.
