My husband had surgery, and the absence of an elevator forced us to leave the moldy air‑conditioner vent behind.

The room and bathroom had recently been redone, so they looked nice, but when I pulled back the shower curtain the bathtub was stained black, so I skipped the shower; there was no elevator, construction was ongoing, and after checkout I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone at the front desk to bring me a forgotten item, making the place feel a bit creepy for the price.

At breakfast we were missing plates, but another guest mentioned the night staff hadn’t stocked the area and a staff member went to buy paper plates, returned apologetic and polite; however, the room we stayed in wasn’t very clean—hairs in the sink and shower, a musty, smoky smell, and large stains on the hallway carpeting.
