The location in the forest and the closeness to the volcano park were great, and the host was friendly. The room was small, smelled damp, and the breakfast was inadequate.

The place was comfortable. There was no air conditioning, so it felt a bit humid. It wasn’t hot because it’s at 1200 meters elevation, so that wasn’t an issue, but the humidity was noticeable—still more than acceptable.

The lodge’s location was nice, tucked into nature and very close to the volcano, and the service was exceptional. The lodge itself was humid and a bit smelly, and there wasn’t enough storage space.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, calm, and stays pleasantly cool all day long.
