The Courtyard Austin-University Area hotel is 6 miles from downtown Austin, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment. It features an outdoor pool, rooms with flat-screen TVs, sitting areas, and video games. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi, a work desk, The Bistro serving breakfast, a business center, and gym. It is close to the University of Texas and LBJ Library.

Convenient location. The staff were friendly. The room had an odor that caused a pause and discomfort during the stay.

The front desk staff were professional, welcoming, and very helpful, but I was disappointed that there was no continental breakfast despite the steep rate, although the a la carte restaurant was a decent alternative.
