This hotel turned out to be a lot better than the negative reviews would suggest; the room was clean, the beds comfortable with fresh new bedding, the bathroom tidy with toiletries, a kettle and tea/coffee supplied, and a drinking water dispenser in the corridor outside. Staff were pleasant and tried to help me order a taxi to the airport at 0430, but the process seemed complicated, so I used Grab instead. I had booked and paid for a taxi in advance via Grab, but when the departure time came a message said no drivers were available; after rebooking immediately, a driver appeared within 7 minutes. Why did Grab say no drivers were available when I booked in advance? Moral: don’t rely on them if you have an early flight. The location is in the outer suburbs, but a brand‑new KFC‑style restaurant next door offers cheap, reasonable food, and the airport is 15‑20 minutes away. For the price, nothing. The rooms aren’t as bright as the photos suggest, but mine was perfectly satisfactory.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the third time, and it continues to meet my expectations. The hotel's proximity to the wharf, where I catch the ferry to Maratua, is one of its greatest assets. The air conditioning worked efficiently, keeping my room cool and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would return again in the future.

The hotel's location was perfect for my early morning departure to the harbor for Maratua, and the bed was relatively comfortable. However, I was disappointed to find that the room, bedding, and towels had a strong musty smell. To make matters worse, a storm rolled in during the night, causing water to leak into the room through gaps in the ceiling, making the bed wet. The facilities were also very basic, and I found long black hairs in the sink and shower that didn't belong to me.
