The only downside was that the room didn't have AC for 1500 rs, and AC was an extra charge.

The owner turned his house into rental rooms, offering no privacy at all; all rooms are connected, so you can hear guests in adjacent rooms, and the owner is unprofessional, always shouting and never speaking properly.
