The location was good, and there were no negatives.

Even though many nearby rooms were fully booked, I managed to get a reservation and there was a large bath for men. However, the room next to the elevator was noisy, and breakfast started at 6:30 which was too late for me.

The place is great for getting to Kakunodate or mountain onsens when no closer hotels exist, and the lobby coffee is free and decent. The rooms could use a little refreshing.
