“Great location and price”

Great spot for families; the room was comfortable for resting amid family gatherings. The sofa bed had no cover or pillow.

The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and they kept the beds made. Water pressure was lacking, the bathroom outlets didn’t work, and the beds felt stiff.

It was close to the Zoo and the staff seemed nice; breakfast was okay. But the $150 incidental fee wasn’t mentioned in the listing and after three days I still haven’t been refunded. The location isn’t in the best neighborhood.

The location, the staff, and the beds were all great, but the bathroom floor needed better sweeping and mopping, the toilet seat was loose and risky to sit on, and there were no tea bags at breakfast.

“short and glad it was over”

Even though the hotel sits close to the zoo, the surrounding area made us feel uneasy; homeless people appeared at every corner, a man walked around in a stupor, and the overall safety felt compromised even inside our room. The hotel took a deposit from our account to cover damage and smoking policies—though I was told it wouldn’t be charged, I still disliked the practice and never received a receipt, so I don’t know the final bill. Getting in and out of the driveway was difficult with no visibility of oncoming traffic. I wouldn’t recommend staying in that area, but the hotel itself was fine.
