“Bad Experience From the staff of hotel terrel Ampara.”

I booked a triple room for 10/10/2026 to 11/10/2026 and the hotel confirmed it. Last weekend, no hotels were available because of a Netball tournament in Ampara, and all hotels were fully booked by school teams. After several phone calls to the Terrel Hotel, they told me they had cancelled my room because one of the schools booked it. They informed me that evening, and afterward I couldn’t find any place to stay that night and missed my daughter’s netball tournament. This was a bad experience with Terrel staff. If I hadn’t received that phone call and went to Ampara, I would have had no accommodation that night. If rooms are booked early, please close your ads.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Terrel, the owner, who always made sure everything was right for us. We received a free breakfast even though we returned from our safari two hours late. The hotel is beautifully laid out, super clean, and centrally located. Absolutely recommend it.

“Bon choix pour quelques jours près de Gal Oya”

The reception was very warm, the hotel clean, and having a restaurant on site is convenient when traveling with kids. Getting to Gal Oya takes 25 minutes in a region with few accommodations.

The accommodation is welcoming, surrounded by plants and greenery, with a very kind owner and quick staff. The food was good; we dined there for lunch and dinner. The owner also helped organize the safari.

“Hébergement agrèable”

The room was spacious, the bathroom clean, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant is very pleasant and serves great food. The staff are friendly and smile often. The only drawback was the lack of power outlets.
