The location was good, but the experience was truly disappointing. Breakfast was listed as included, yet it never arrived during my stay. I reached out to the owner multiple times for clarification; he answered quickly about check‑in questions but consistently ignored all inquiries about breakfast, offering no explanation or solution. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. If a service is advertised as included, it must be guaranteed, or at least communicated clearly when it isn’t available. The absence of communication and failure to deliver on promises made the stay very negative.
The entire operation is run by the cleaning lady who greets guests and assigns rooms; there is no other staff even though there are 12 rooms. Because she is alone, she can’t keep the premises hygienically tidy, especially since she works every other day. Breakfast doesn’t exist and there’s no suitable space for it. The room décor is old and poor. The small fridge works poorly and leaks water at the bottom. In the bathroom, hot water is missing late at night and in the morning. There’s no shower enclosure or separate area for showering. A lifeguard is stuck on the wall in front of the toilet, 70 cm away, inside a 65‑cm circular towel that a normal person can’t shower in; even Snow White’s dwarfs would struggle. Every shower floods the entire bathroom, with water running onto the floor and no containment wall. In short, nothing works here; shameful.
The place was nice. When we arrived, the room we had booked wasn’t available because other guests were inside, even though we could have checked in earlier. We called the owner and he told us to “go for a walk on the beach” until the room cleared, which would have taken another hour because the cleaning lady would have had to clean it. Breakfast was listed as included, but there was almost nothing—just occasional packaged croissants and crackers. The window in our room wouldn’t close and hot water was missing. Thanks to Mrs. Vita’s quick response, she gave us another room and tried to be as helpful as possible. We managed to have a decent night, but the client management and breakfast need some improvement.
The village setting was great, though a bit noisy.
“Milo wspominam pobyt w hotelu i okolicach.”
The hotel is in a quiet spot away from the city. The nearby town is very calm and has a good pizzeria and supermarket. It’s about 10 minutes from Otranto. Breakfast, which is included in the price, was a small buffet with only a few cookies instead of a decent breakfast. A pity.
