Heating and a ceiling fan maintain a comfortable climate in the carpeted interior, with a socket conveniently placed beside the bed. A double bed, equipped with linen and towels, sleeps two guests, and a desk provides an iron, clothes rack, and wake‑up service/alarm clock. The en‑suite bathroom includes a shower, toilet, free toiletries and toilet paper, while a tea/coffee maker, electric kettle, radio and flat‑screen TV offer additional in‑room conveniences.

The Twin Room offers two single beds for two guests and features wooden furnishings throughout. An en‑suite bathroom provides a private shower. A television and complimentary Wi‑Fi are available for entertainment and connectivity.
Everything was perfect, just the room was scorching hot so an air‑con would help; we stayed when it was 35 °C, so sometimes that’s unavoidable.
The spot is quiet, and the welcome was warm and friendly.
“Ok for what we needed a night or two max”
The location fit what we were after, close to Chepstow and Bristol. The room itself was dark and could use better soundproofing on the windows. The meals and drinks were pricey for what they offered, and the cheap streaky bacon at breakfast wasn’t great. The plumbing was noisy; both nights I woke up to the next room flushing the toilet, which seemed limited to rooms over the bar. My friend didn’t experience that.
