The king bed was very uncomfortable, the pull‑out sofa bed was flat and my kids slept on springs and metal, and the suite mini‑fridge kept making noises all night long; I’ve stayed here before with no issues, but this time the room didn’t meet my expectations as a Hilton Honors member.

The room was a decent size, but three lights didn’t work—especially the bathroom light, so we had to use a flashlight or leave the door open to use the restroom. I mentioned it at check‑in and the front desk sent someone to look at it, but she said she’d submit a maintenance ticket (I suspect a breaker flipped) and didn’t offer to move us to a room with a working light; the room also smelled of cigarette smoke. I raised the issue again in the morning, but nothing changed, which makes me think they don’t expect guests to return and that reflects poorly on the Hilton brand, something I’ll keep in mind for future bookings.

Bringing my 4‑year‑old, we both enjoyed the location; the room was spotless, the pool was a hit for my daughter, and the view from our room was stunning—breakfast was also excellent.
