“Meh.”

The hotel desperately needs renovation: the bed was old and uncomfortable, the drapes were hanging off the hooks, the wallpaper was torn, the paint was old and dingy, the carpet was ancient, and the tiles in the elevator were worn. There was a one‑inch gap between the floor and the elevator, making it hard to push a luggage cart inside. The staff were nice, but the facilities clearly require repair, update, and renovation. I also sent an email about needing to modify my reservation, and no one from your side ever responded. I am completely dissatisfied with your service and will not stay again.

“Everything else was great.”

The place was spotless and the staff came across as friendly, but the king bed’s mattress felt old and we kept rolling over each other.

“Reservation never recorded”

The reservation that was supposedly made through Bookings.com never materialised, leaving me to scramble for another place and with no record of the payment; I was thoroughly disappointed.

We were bumped and cancelled because of overbooking, which meant my reservation wasn’t honoured, and the lady at the counter was rude when the situation was already tough.
