Yogu's Woodside

“Long Island und Yogu‘s Woodside sind auf jedenfall einen Besuch von 2-3 Tagen wert!”

Everything! The room was exceptionally clean, cozy and arranged for comfort, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was wonderfully varied and delicious; we can only give this place our highest recommendation.

Stayed at this hotel in March 2026. Quick check-in, friendly hosts. The rooms are new and the cleanest I've seen in India, cozy and well-equipped. The location is convenient for tourists. The hosts helped with transfers, scooter rentals, ferry tickets, tours, and other information about the island. The food was excellent, and I was kindly given the spices for a magical tea. The accommodations were excellent for the price. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel is new and modern. I had motion sickness and was glad to be in this hotel. The smart TV has many available apps. The kitchen tried to accommodate my needs. The food was always fresh and very tasty. Towels were requested on demand, and a scooter could be rented. In the wardrobe there were still socks from the previous guest, so the cleaning was insufficient. Sometimes the staff seemed annoyed or listless. The hotel claims a higher standard than it can deliver. A cleaning midway would have been welcome; it would have been nice if we had been asked. The downside of freshly cooked food is that it requires about 2 h lead time, so you would need to pre‑order to get it at a convenient time.

“A taste of Andaman life outside of tourism”

The staff at this hotel really went the extra mile, greeting us at the jetty and transporting us to and from the hotel for our return trip. The modern new building was a great base for our stay, and the food was top-notch, with plenty of options at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel's location in the quiet village of Long Island was a real highlight - we loved exploring the village and taking a hike out to Lalaji Beach.

“We really enjoyed our visit here”

This hotel was a real gem - the staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast spread was also impressive, with a great selection of hot and cold options. The only thing that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars was the noise from the street outside, but even that wasn't too bad. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again.
