Rodeway Inn Kingston Springs

“Old building, new rooms.”

The room was very nice, clean, and the bed comfortable, and it looked recently updated; the only downside is the building’s exterior looks old and worn, which made me question my choice, but that didn’t affect the room.

“Only stay here if you have no other option...”

I was charged $250 at the front desk after the attendant claimed she smelled smoke when she passed my room, even though I never smoke; I told her it was a guy standing in front of his car smoking, but she denied the charge and told me I couldn’t stay there again, which was fine because I only stayed because I was exhausted and didn’t want to keep driving. Communication with the A.M staff was lacking.

The bathroom had a strong marijuana odor, a roach in the sink, hair on the floor and mattress, an old cigarette butt on the floor, and a nail in the seam between the room and bathroom floors that wasn’t flush; the front desk lady was nice but everything else was terrible.

“Apenas asequible”

It was acceptable because I was on the road; the room was clean. The exterior facilities looked abandoned and the building was very ugly, and something needs to be done about that.

The beds were super comfortable, the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, and the location off I‑40 was convenient with food options within walking distance. The toilet could have been a little cleaner, and there was an old moldy coffee pod mixed in with the new coffee.
