What a wonderful place—everything felt completely detached from the outside world. The staff were fantastic, the rooms beautiful, the grounds impressive, and the monkeys were clever! There was absolutely nothing negative.

“Stylish hotel - well set up for the national park given a bit of a drive away”

We loved staying at Cloud Nine; the resort is tucked away yet fully equipped and stylish, with welcoming staff. The jeep tours were fantastic, especially with the excellent naturalist, and we enjoyed the Loris night walk, though it felt rushed as we hurried to spot animals and birds (we’re fit, but we’d have struggled otherwise). We’ll be recommending the hotel. Thank you. The downside was that we weren’t informed about breakfast costs or the Loris tour fee beforehand; they appeared on the bill at checkout, and it would have been nicer to know the pricing earlier.

“Great place, peaceful location.”

The location was quiet and the staff lovely, but the power outlets were too far from the bed.

“Un site complet d'hébergement et restauration pour réussir un safari au Sri Lanka”

The staff were very available, both for accommodation and quality dining, perfect for a nearby safari; the place is isolated, relaxing, and supports all activities. We tried canoeing in the mangrove a few hundred meters away, which was well preserved—an essential experience in Sri Lanka.

The property feels unique and exciting, and the rooms are clean and comfortable; the staff are very helpful. The food could be better, but the hopper in the morning is a must‑try!
