The property is steeped in history and proudly displays it; the location is within walking distance of sights. Dinner and breakfast were sumptuous, and the rooftop ambience at night left a lasting impression. However, there is no lift, so you must climb the stairs each time to enjoy the room views.

The terrace, the restaurant, and the à la carte breakfast were great, and it’s a real convenience to be able to walk everywhere. The surroundings aren’t the best, but the location is central.

The owners were fantastic – shout out to Mr Kartik and his dad – they were excellent hosts, looked after us, and even dropped us back at the bus station. There was nothing else to note.
