The San Want Residences Taipei is a luxurious hotel situated along Nanjing East Road, a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT. It offers a fitness centre, free in-room internet, and all-day complimentary coffee and tea at the lounge. Spacious air-conditioned rooms feature modern furnishings, minibars, and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. An art gallery showcases local artists' works, and a business centre and tour desk are available.

The location was great, the staff friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed, and everything was perfect.

The location was very good, the room spacious with a great breakfast and an amazing shower and bathtub, but the bed was extremely hard and the pillows had no substance.

The hotel is okay, mainly old; I felt the price didn't match the value compared to other local hotels. We stayed in a room with a park view, which wasn't exactly what I had imagined and in hindsight it's not worth it. Breakfast was reasonable, amenities fairly basic, and the design and atmosphere were very old and drab. These were the last days of our trip and we wanted to indulge, so we chose a slightly pricier hotel with a very high rating, but we were quite disappointed compared to what we sought. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
