Rooms feature free Wi‑Fi, flat‑screen TVs, private bathrooms and hairdryers. The Camino de Santiago passes nearby, and the 12th‑century Colegiata del Sar Monastery is within easy walking distance.

The place sits in an old house and feels very cozy; the owner is incredibly kind and helpful, and the city center is just a 15‑minute walk away.

The home’s character was amazing, though we only wished the restaurant had been open for us to try.

We had an excellent stay in a beautiful part of Santiago de Compostela, with nighttime silence and a fantastic restaurant next door; a 5‑minute walk to the old city and the hill from the Camino didn’t bother us, and the staff were very friendly, arranging a taxi and driver to pick us up at 4 am on the day we left. We highly recommend PR San Nicolas, and there were no significant problems.
