We stayed at this pousada and it turned out to be the best one we’ve ever tried. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, not right in the city centre but still an easy walk, and the host family was incredibly warm and quick to help – they fixed a broken shower on the spot and even gave us a brand‑new one. The homemade banana cake they served was insanely good, and we felt right at home, so we’d definitely come back.

The owners were super friendly and the service felt genuinely attentive. The garden is huge and there’s plenty of green space to wander around, which made the place feel really relaxing.

Everything about the stay at Pássaros da Manhã was spot‑on – the staff were on point, the room was tidy and the little kitchen attached was handy for storing water, snacks and brewing coffee before heading out on a trail. The bed was both comfy and sturdy, and honestly you won’t find any real downside.

This pousada impressed me with its huge, spotless green area and the warm welcome from Neide, Roberto and Estela – they’re polite, friendly and made us feel right at home. I’d definitely book again; really, we liked everything.
