The location was fantastic and the beer garden was great, but the apartment was a nightmare – there were no kitchen utensils, the fridge was mouldy and the kitchen was unusable, making the unit impossible to live in as an apartment.

The location was nice, but the toilet was dirty, the shower cabin didn't seal properly, the fridge had mold, and the laundry smelled like fuel.

The staff were dedicated and very helpful, and the beer garden was great in a beautiful setting, but our booked room had already been taken, so we were compensated with a bottle of wine and an apology letter; later we received another room that was almost identical and we were satisfied, though we would have preferred to avoid the confusion at check‑in.

“Even bezoek met een nasmaak”

The setting was lovely and nicely rural, yet on our third visit the hotel felt like it was on the decline: reception and the beer garden closed early, breakfast couldn’t be served because of staff shortages, and our dog was attacked by a neighboring dog, forcing a trip to the vet and an early departure. The lady running the place was friendly but far too busy to be truly helpful, and we got little support and no follow‑up after the incident, which was disappointing for a family hotel we’d visited before.
