The food was good, but the staff wasted our time at check‑in because they didn’t know which room we had booked, and the shower had no hot water. No cold drinks were offered, and one employee even entered our room inappropriately. The price‑to‑quality ratio isn’t acceptable.

The view, the staff, the little touches (hot water bottles in the evening), and the location 10 min from the gorilla centre were all great. Nothing to complain about except the pillows.

We had originally booked a more expensive hotel for gorilla trekking, but changed our mind because this lodge sits right next to Bwindi forest and is very convenient for reaching the gorillas. We stayed together, so the staff gave us maximum friendly attention. The simple food was very tasty, and the people really tried to please us—thank you for the warm hospitality. The lodge is a pretty, cute place themed around gorillas. The room was cool, and the hot water bottles saved the night; the hot water flow was weak but present. Internet worked well at the reception and restaurant. They provided us with special trekking shoes for the gorillas at a very reasonable price; the shoes were good and comfortable, saving me in the forest. Beautiful sunsets and jungle views delighted us every evening and morning; we drank wine and sat on the terrace. We never regretted choosing this lodge and recommend it for gorilla trekking because it’s very close to the park entrance, convenient, pleasant, clean, and friendly.

“PARADISE IN BWINDI! I WONT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!”

I stayed at Agandi 2 nights for gorilla trekking and I couldn’t be anymore happier with the service and treatment I received! The staff were so pleasant and helpful, the food delicious and the property is beautiful. There was nothing not to like! It was perfect!
