The location is great for visiting friends; the bar food was good and the room was large and comfy. They don’t serve breakfasts, but you can grab one downstairs. At first I couldn’t park because they were renovating the car park, but they told me I could use the next‑door one, which was fine.

The staff were excellent, and the food was gorgeous with huge portions that were reasonably priced; the live music was great. The bedroom was huge and really nice, but the bathroom could use an update.
