The host and staff were kind and helpful, and they accommodated our early check‑in, having the room ready when we arrived on 20 August in Sicily—a rarity! The B&B is literally “next to” the beautiful San Bartolomeo church; I can’t imagine a better location. I would suggest using the courtyard’s playpen as a breakfast room, especially in summer; it would be a beautiful and more convenient option for guests compared to the nearby bar, which is lovely and just a two‑step walk from the property.

Clean and great location. On the first day, the breakfast at Mangiafico was slow and the staff were rude. At Piperito on the second day, the staff were very friendly and courteous.

The B&B is well organized and just a stone’s throw from the town’s main square. The owner stood out for her availability and hospitality. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with efficient air‑conditioning. The location is ideal for day trips to nearby Syracuse (10 km) and other charming coastal towns. A very positive experience worth repeating. Nothing to add.
