Everything was fine except there was no lunch offered, even though it would have been wonderful to have lunch by the pool.

Clean, friendly staff, a few steps to the beach, a tidy pool with a great view; on the busiest days parking could have been better but was acceptable, and the Bahama Room was packed for breakfast on a couple of days, forcing me to eat outside at the pool or in my room.

The beds were okay and the kitchen was nice, but the bathtub didn’t drain, the shower never got hot, the AC could have been colder, a $100 hold appeared on my card and I was unaware of a $250 charge; being caught smoking on the balcony made no sense, and the room’s side view of the ocean left me expecting an oceanside spot.

The view and the hotel’s location were great, but the breakfast could have offered more variety.
