“Lovely stay comfortable room with good food”
The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and the food was great; there was nothing to dislike.
“Red Lion”
The room in the Stables was lovely and everything you’d expect was there; the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with very good quality ingredients, and the place was very quiet even though it’s behind the main building. No complaints.

The room was separate from the main building with easy access, and every staff member—including the owners—was friendly and more than accommodating during our visit; nothing to complain about.

The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was noisy because of the kitchen extraction below, the shower was temperamental and took a long time to reach a comfortable temperature, and the tea tray was grubby and dusty, which didn’t look very appealing.
We stayed at the Red Lion for three nights and found the old pub lovely, the food fantastic, and the staff friendly and helpful; we were lucky to pick that place.
