“Décevant et non conforle à la description”

The spot is great because it’s near the Magadins and restaurants, but the front desk is a joke—no one is there, so you have to call and wait for someone to come. There’s no breakfast at all, even though the ad says otherwise; all you get are frozen toasts, jam, instant noodles, and cornflakes, just like any other Korean motel. The price‑quality ratio is bad and the description is misleading.

“Hotel Lisa is a decent choice for a stay in Sokcho. The location is great and he staff are helpful.”

I liked that the hotel is close to a taxi stand and that the room was spacious. However, the floor was dirty and constantly smelled like ramen.

“fair price, good location”

Even though I don’t speak Korean well, the staff didn’t mind and stayed friendly. The nightly rate is unbeatable, and the location is only a 10‑minute walk from Hanseom beach, with buses leaving from several spots less than 100 m away. I enjoyed the homemade Korean breakfast—rice, small minced meat patties, eggroll, five side dishes, water, and coffee. The room was comfortable: a huge TV, a decent mattress, a separate bathroom with a toilet, and a full‑body massage chair next to the bed. At that price I can’t say I didn’t like anything, but I did miss a bedside lamp.

The place is cheap, centrally located, and the staff are friendly, making check‑in and check‑out easy. The only downside is the lingering smoke smell in the room.
