Trolltunga Hostel

“Very good stay and great starting point for a hike.”

The location is perfect for starting the Trolltunga hike – private vans and city buses stop almost right in front of the hostel. The beds were comfortable. Inside the room there was a shared bathroom just for guests staying there. Everything was clean; it was very good value for money. Negatives: In the early morning before we left for a hike there was an electricity problem in the kitchen, so we couldn’t warm anything for breakfast. The night before everything worked fine. It would also help to mark the hostel spaces a bit more clearly, because we didn’t know which floor to go to at first. There is no front desk, but the cleaning staff were very helpful and directed us to our room. Adding one or two extra shared toilets in the hallway would be useful if the dormitory toilets are occupied.

Guter und unkomplizierter Check Inn, alles da was man braucht , Hilfsbereit alles super. Dachte der Wirlpool und Sauna sind direkt beim Hostel, muss man aber zum Hotel gehen

“Suboptimal.”

The hostel is perfect for a Trolltunga trip, and the staff, though not on site, were super helpful over the phone. The mattresses and pillows give no support, the lockers don’t work, the place isn’t clean and guests leave it in the same state; I also wanted a spot on the bed for my glasses and meds. Maybe cut back on spending, the drive to Trolltunga is exhausting.

It was very nice and clean, and everyone was friendly. The view from the room was incredible. However, the door code changed when we still had one night left.
