“A lovely quiet hotel with spacious rooms in good location”
Excellent location, a few yards from an Ubahn station which is only one stop away from main railway station. Very close walking distance to a tram stop for city centre, and ditto to the area where several of the superb Art galleries are located. Extremely spacious room, with armchairs/coffee table/private courtyard and good size bathroom. Everything clean and welcoming, with good lighting. A lift to upper floors (though my room was on ground floor). The house is set well back from the road, in a courtyard behind other housed, so is very quiet. A clear communication beforehand about how to get keys from key safe. A small buffet breakfast but very tasty. Nothing really, although it would have been nice to have tea-making facilities in the room as the cafe next door closed quite early in the evening. It also felt slightly insecure to have no manned Reception - a phone number was given for people to contact in emergency. The instruction sheet with my keys was all in German so I had a bit of trouble to work out what to do with the registration form. The price was very high, despite the plus points above, but it was Oktoberfest season so demand for accommodation was high
