“THEY GAVE ME ROACHES”
I’ve stayed here several times as a travel nurse who needs a room for 1‑2 nights a week, thinking it’d be a cheap, convenient spot off the interstate and 10 minutes from the hospital. Check‑in is quick and the staff are pleasant, but they gave me cockroaches. I’ve never had bugs, mice, or anything like that in my life. I’m extremely clean, work in surgery, and keep my house OCD‑clean. A few weeks ago I saw what I thought was a beetle in the bathroom, but it turned out to be a German cockroach, notorious hitchhikers. I only bring a small backpack and lunch box, nothing else. The facility would have been fine if not for the consistently dingy bathrooms, the roaches, and a strip club just 20 ft across the parking lot. I guess I’m at fault for expecting the bare minimum of no infestation. They also charge a $100 deposit fee when you arrive, which I think is ridiculous—basically the cost of two extra nights that you get back six days later.
