The view and the unusual location were highlights, but getting to the boat was a hassle.

Staying one night on this boat is truly unusual and enjoyable; Damien is very welcoming and responsive, but the boat access is difficult for someone with limited mobility.
The host was very welcoming and explained everything on the boat very well, yet the steep stair that had to be descended to the dock was awkward with luggage.
A tiny, charming little boat just two steps from Douarnenez’s historic centre on the harbour makes for a pleasant stay; it isn’t huge – which is to be expected – but it’s cleverly laid out and has everything needed for an enjoyable, off‑beat visit. It can get a bit chilly and damp, though we were there in February, so that felt normal for a vessel.
