The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home. The only downside was that I had to leave earlier than planned.

The spot’s location is fine, but the lodge felt abandoned – the new manager wasn’t even waiting for us. He’d only taken over a month ago, had no staff, was at a barbecue with friends, and didn’t even know we were coming. The room was dirty, breakfast was awful with stale bread, and I ended up cutting my stay short and asking for a refund, but haven’t heard back.
