Nice view of the ocean and the owner was super nice (very nice welcome cocktail in front of the ocean). It was quite dirty; the bathroom was leaking water directly onto the floor. We paid a lot for what was offered.

“Gorgeous family stay”

I was lucky enough to stay at Indika’s place, which is truly charming and the family is absolutely lovely. The highlight for me was chatting with Indika, strolling along the beach with his wife, and playing hide and seek with his beautiful daughter. They welcomed me warmly and were very accommodating, especially when Indika helped me book an early tuk‑tuk to the bus station so I could catch my connection. The restaurant’s food was tasty and well priced. I slept in the balcony room, which was a real treat, and I could hear the waves crashing outside my window. The property feels rustic but offers great value for money. Thanks to Indika and Sangita for a wonderful stay. I wish you all the best. The only snag was that I couldn’t figure out how to get the hot water to work.

The staff was friendly at first and the location was nice. Even though there were no screens to watch the football World Cup final, the manager set up a projector and stayed up all night to make sure we could watch it. However, we received bedsheets with holes from the moment we checked in, and when we tried to point out the issue, the staff blamed us even though we were non‑smokers and hadn’t ironed anything. The bathroom was clogged with water, we only had two pillows for three of us, and one night we had to sleep without a pillow. At checkout the staff lied and was very rude. Be careful if you plan to stay there.
