“Un très bon séjour à Marari Beach”
The spot is spot on, just a few steps from Marari’s stunning beach. The homestay’s big garden gives a green, soothing vibe that makes you feel fully immersed in nature. It’s quiet and relaxing, yet close to the main road linking Cherthala to Alleppey, which is handy for bus travel with two stops nearby. Edward and Roji are warm, available, and attentive to guests’ wellbeing. Breakfast is included, and you can also have lunch or dinner on site; Roji whips up tasty traditional dishes that are a real treat. The room is simple but cozy, fully equipped, and the bathroom has hot water, which is a nice touch. Wi‑Fi is fast and reliable, so working online—video calls, streaming—goes smoothly. Every room has a terrace with a table or desk overlooking the garden, a real pleasure for working, writing, reading, or just enjoying the setting. The homestay is near pricier beach restaurants, a bit farther from local spots like Food Corner or Joy’s Hotel, but that’s more than offset by the option to eat right on the premises.
