“A decent place to stay in a great neighborhood”

A simple place with basic necessities. My room had a great view of the river from the balcony. The villa is rustic and shows its age. I didn’t quite like their breakfast.

The breakfast was awful and the room had no light or view.

The bed was great and the night porter was friendly and helpful. The location was good. The room was very dark. Breakfast was terrible: the toast was stale, we didn’t get a knife for butter or jam, and there was no coffee stirrer with the tea, so we used our forks. The staff, except for the night porter, were unprofessional. The room was only given a roll of toilet paper when cleaned; it wasn’t truly cleaned until about every two days when the bed was made.

Kao at reception was the best part of our stay in Laos – friendly, helpful and attentive. The room with a terrace was very nice, though the water pressure was low. The photos online didn’t match the room we were given.
