Location, parking and the stay itself are exactly what you need for an overnight.

A coffee machine would have been nice, since there’s no café within walking distance.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and I dined there twice; the food tasted great and was inexpensive.

The room was clean and there were plenty of parking spaces; the cozy beer garden was in a lovely spot. We only stayed one night on a layover, and the surroundings were nice, just 20 minutes from Bamberg centre. The only downside is that the rooms are only reachable by a steep staircase; this wasn’t an issue for us, but people with mobility problems might struggle carrying luggage up. However, the Vogel family will likely be able to help, just confirm beforehand.
